It was a happy herd of moms, dads, toddlers and tots (and the occasional stroller gridlock) that descended on the Vancouver Convention Centre East Sunday March 6th. Some of our favourite Green Deal brands were also there, including Nature’s Path, Seventh Generation, New World Natural Foods and our booth-mates, Earths Choice, serving up delicious organic coffee all day long.
It was a great way for families to sample tasty treats, look for healthier, greener product alternatives and enter to win some great prizes.
But one of the most popular items was our recycled (and recyclable) What’s the Green Deal RecycleBag, which lists the things you can recycle at London Drugs. We gave every single one of them out, and it was gratifying to see so many families taking home our message of recycling.
Big thanks to Maria and Kevin from our Olympic Village location and Tracy and Ty, from our Davie Street Store for hanging out and handing out all day long. Bonus points for Ty who was our official spokes-voice, starring on the Healthy Family Expo video!
